About the program
Program purpose and scope
The Allara Global Responsible Beverage Service Certificate Program provides education and assessment designed to support lawful alcohol service practices and reduce alcohol-related harm in hospitality environments. The program covers legal compliance, identification and management of intoxicated patrons, prevention of underage service, and responsible service decision-making aligned with applicable federal, state and local alcohol beverage control requirements.Intended learning outcomes

This program is intended for individuals working in the hospitality industry who serve alcoholic beverages to customers, including individuals who may be subject to responsible beverage service training requirements within their jurisdiction.Completing the program
Program requirements
Participants must complete all required learning modules and achieve a minimum passing score of 70% on the final assessment in order to earn the certificate.Program duration and access period
Participants have 30 days from enrolment to complete the course. The course is self-paced and typically takes approximately two to three hours to complete.Assessment instructions
The final assessment consists of multiple-choice questions. Participants must select the best answer for each question. The assessment must be completed in one sitting and cannot be paused once it has started. A minimum score of 70% is required to successfully complete the program.Certificate issuance and validity
Certificates are issued to participants who successfully meet all program requirements. The certificate demonstrates successful completion of the program at the time of assessment. Depending on the applicable jurisdiction, renewal or retraining may be required every two to five years. Participants should review the requirements of the state or local jurisdiction in which they work.Course requirements
Instructional personnel
Course materials are developed and maintained by the Allara Global instructional design team and reviewed by qualified subject matter experts with demonstrated experience in alcohol service regulation, hospitality operations, compliance requirements, responsible beverage service, and adult learning and instructional design.Technology requirements
Participants must have access to a computer or mobile device with internet connectivity and basic digital literacy skills necessary to complete online coursework and assessments.Program policies and disclosures
This course covers important alcohol-service laws and responsible service practices. Requirements may vary by jurisdiction. Participants are responsible for being aware of any additional state or local training, certification, licensing, renewal, or employment requirements that may apply where they work.

Allara Global collects learner information necessary to administer enrolment, deliver course instruction, maintain assessment and program records, issue certificates, and verify certificate status where appropriate. Personal information and assessment results are treated as confidential. Participant information may only be disclosed with learner authorisation, when required by law, for accreditation-related activities, or for legitimate certificate-verification purposes.
Allara Global handles learner information in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
Participants may request access to their records, submit a complaint, or appeal a certificate decision by contacting the Allara Global Help Desk at helpdesk@allaraglobal.com.
The Allara Global Responsible Beverage Service Certificate Program does not currently provide academic or continuing education credit through an external credit-approving organisation. Completion of the certificate program should not be represented as academic credit unless separate written approval has been provided by an appropriate credit-granting organisation.
The Responsible Beverage Service Certificate Program does not receive commercial sponsorship or external financial support that influences instructional content, assessment development, program administration, or certificate-issuance decisions.
Certificates issued by Allara Global may be used solely to demonstrate successful completion of the applicable certificate program during the stated validity period. A certificate holder may not use the Allara Global name, logos, trademarks, certificate imagery, or certificate designation in a manner that implies professional licensure, government endorsement, organisational certification, accreditation of the certificate holder, or any status beyond successful completion of the applicable certificate program. Certificates remain the property of Allara Global and may be suspended, withdrawn, or invalidated if misuse, alteration, falsification, or misrepresentation occurs.
